Our Ethics

Chronicle recognises that sharing stories is something personal and we do not take that for granted.

 

Chronicle operates to the following set of ethics for our participants in our projects:

​

1.  We respect the freedom of choice for participants whether to share a story with us or not

2.  We respect the right of a participant to change their mind at any time

3.  In editing stories, we always seek to remain true to the essence and focus of the participant's story

4.  We will make efforts to show you your story when it is complete for your approval

5.  We will treat every story with care

6.  We will not knowingly publish any stories that we think will cause offence

7.  We will discuss with participants the intended use of their story, whether public or private

7. Participants have the right to withdraw their story at any time
