What is Digital Storytelling?

Chronicle defines digital storytelling as the capture of personal memories, reflections and reminiscences in the form of short digital videos.   The videos are recorded with an audio in the voice of the participant and blended together with relevant photos and sometimes background music. We have also used cine film where available.  We use several formats to record stories including one-on-one conversations as well as workshops.  Typically we use an iPad as our tool of choice to record stories.
